Our English class is studying the memoir Night, by Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel.
I worked in a group with Preslee and Eva to create an Empathy Map for Elie at this age.
Elie has a very religious life. He loves his religion and is eager to learn more. He is finding it difficult to get somebody to help him with the kabbalah. Despite his father not showing affection, he is well loved by his family. By the sounds of it he lives in a close, mainly Jewish, community.
